Jeoyuh Lin


Jeoyuh is a patent attorney who was a former in-house attorney at a Tier 1 automotive supplier, a former PTAB judicial intern, and a former medical diagnostics/image analysis USPTO patent examiner, with native fluency in Mandarin Chinese.  He protects and commercializes the clients’ innovation, and specializes in obtaining and enforcing value-added patents in medical devices, Electric Vehicle/Autonomous Vehicle (EV/AV), semiconductor, metallurgic, and ceramic materials, and consumer electronics technologies, with an eye towards business aspects in IP.

Jeoyuh also conducts clearance and patentability opinions, and counsels entrepreneurs and corporations on the cutting edge of innovation on business strategies.

Jeoyuh was the Vice President, Communications for the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Washington, DC, and co-founded the Giles S. Rich Intellectual Property Moot Court team while in law school at the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and has a B.S., biomedical engineering degree from The Johns Hopkins University.

In addition to being dedicated to Intellectual Property Law, Jeoyuh enjoys landscape and travel photography, and takes great interest in all things tech-optics and ever-improving digital imaging, storage, and transfer.  Jeoyuh has also summited Mt. Fuji and completed a Half-Ironman race in Taitung, Taiwan.


Jeoyuh has prepared and prosecuted patent applications from initial disclosure stage to patent issuance, conducted discovery patent infringement analysis for a major semiconductor manufacturer that resulted in a settlement, and has revived abandoned patent applications for companies that have undergone management changes, mergers and acquisitions, and spin-offs.  He also registered trademark applications for start-ups companies.
