John Dawson is a Partner at Kim IP, with a practice that focuses on patent procurement, opinion work, licensing, counseling and managing worldwide patent portfolios.
Mr. Dawson has prepared and prosecuted hundreds of utility and design application in the U.S. and internationally in a wide variety of electrical, software, electromechanical and mechanical arts.
Mr. Dawson has also been selected to “IAM 1000, The World’s Leading Patent Professionals” by Intellectual Asset Management based on peer reviews, and awarded a “Top Patent Prosecutor” which is provided to less than 2% of U.S. patent prosecutors by Patent Buddy/Patent Research Review based on peer reviews.
In his spare time, Mr. Dawson serves as a guest lecturer for the University of Oregon Law School.
